Huge congratulations to Jess (Y 12) for winning the South West Anthea Bell Prize for Young Translators, run by the University of Oxford, with her translation of Italian prose.
She will now be put through to the national competition.
The competition organisers passed on their congratulations and said it was a fantastic achievement given the number and standard of entries received this year.
