Administration Assistant

Jersey College for Girls is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dynamic individual to join its administrative support team. 

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in an administration role, proven organisational and communication skills and the ability to prioritise within a very busy environment. Assistant to Head of School

At Jersey College for Girls, we prioritise the wellbeing of our students and we acknowledge that this is intrinsically linked to their academic progress. 

Our dedicated Student Support Team (SST) seeks to nurture all students to develop good mental health, aspirations and healthy coping strategies by removing barriers to learning: thus enabling progress and achievement. We are seeking to appoint a new member of the SST to support our Heads of School in managing and developing the wellbeing and progress for students. 

The ideal candidate would be expected to monitor students’ attendance, support student wellbeing across a wide range of ages within the college (including Sixth Form) on a daily basis. Furthermore they will support students with their study skills both in the classroom and in small groups. Assistants to Heads of School need to be flexible in order to meet the needs of the College and its students. 

We are looking for a candidate who understands the important role Emotional Literacy plays in ensuring the health and wellbeing of all our students. A proven track record in encouraging resilience and self-esteem, working with neurodiverse students, and managing anger and loss would be of benefit. 

The ideal candidate should also be familiar with developing individual students’ access to the curriculum as a whole.

IT Technician

Jersey College for Girls are looking to recruit an IT Technician.

 The successful candidate will provide a comprehensive support service for all users of Technology throughout the college. This will include ensuring that all computer and related equipment is working properly, to act as the first line of support for all hardware and software faults, to install hardware and software on workstations. 

You will be expected to provide support to both students and staff with the use of Office 365 and other software used by the College. We support both Windows and Apple devices so experience with both is desirable but not essential. Training on all systems will be provided.
